Waking Up In  Banff

Written in 1987 when the author/artist, Juanita R Violini, along with her two children, returned to her home town, Banff, Alberta. Written in both English and Japanese languages, this brief story captures the simplicity of the magical surroundings that were a mountainous part of her childhood. Illustrations show Banff as it was in the 1960s, complete with the metal tarzan swing that was a favorite in Central Park. The pages are printed on good quality watercolour paper.
